Navigation

These are self-navigation races and we will endeavour to mark the course out as well as we can and provide marshals in key places.

There are no road closures and marshals will be at all road crossings.

The route is marked as follows:

Figure 1.  Ouse Valley Way signs (not normally this pristine!)

Figure 2.  BRJ Ouse Valley Way Marathon signs

Figure 3.  White or Yellow spray paint arrows on the ground.

There will be maps at each water point outlining the next stage.

Marshals

Marshals are in high-vis vests and are there to help you. Please follow marshals’ instructions and take the opportunity to thank them.

Feed stations

Feed stations are approximately every 5km along the route and at the finish. Note, we are not providing bottles of water and runners will need to carry their own bottle or cup.

They offer

  • Water
  • Electrolyte drink
  • Sweets
  • Crisps
  • First aid kit

Facilities

Toilets and changing rooms are available at the finish and both race starts. Along the route, please use public toilets.

Baggage

There are no facilities for storing baggage at Earith or for returning baggage to the finish at St Neots. Baggage can be left at the finish in the Snug at St Neots One Leisure; however, the storage point might not be manned throughout the event so please do not leave valuables. The car park is on the same site, and competitors may want to leave baggage in their car.

First Aid Facilities

A professional event first aid company is supporting the race. They will be positioned at the half way point which is also the half-marathon start and at the finish. All marshals have their contact details and first aid kits are available at the feed stations.

Results

The results will be available live on the Sublime Race Timing website.

Have a great race.
