BRJ organise an annual Ouse Valley Way Marathon and Half Marathon Relay.
A source-to-sea route on one of England’s longest rivers, it follows the River Great Ouse on its meandering passage from close to its source to the tidal river at Kings Lynn, linking many towns and villages. In the old county of Huntingdonshire, the route is 26 miles long – with a bit of tweaking we have created a scenic route from Earith to Eynesbury, running along the river, sometimes on the banks, occasionally a field or so away. Being near the Fens, this is a flat route, through meadows, small villages, historic towns and nature reserves. The route is a mix of grass, gravel and tarmac paths.

The 2021 race will not go ahead
Given that so many races have been rescheduled to take place in the autumn of 2021 the BRJ Run & Tri Committee has reluctantly decided not to put on the event for 2021. We feel that there may not be sufficient entries to make this event viable; the majority of helpers on the event are runners themselves who may be competing on other events or in their final weekends of training for those events; a bigger and more popular event may take place on the same day.
Please revisit the website in 2022 when we intend to return the Ouse Valley Marathon to the race calendar.
