Nine BRJ members took on the challenge of the River Thames Marathon Swim. The 9th year of this 14K swim down the River Thames has become one of the most prestigious marathon swims.
The swimmers start in four waves from the Leander Club in Henley and enjoy stops at feed stations at the locks at Hambleton (4K) Hurley (10K) and Temple(11.8Km) finishing at Higginson Park in Marlow.
After lots of training and some uncertainty about completing this challenge all nine club members completed the swim down the Thames. In addition, they did some fantastic times with very impressive performances.
