St Neots 1/2 Marathon
A total of 28 BRJ’ers were among the 1,111 finishers. The weather conditions were better than many previous years despite the low temperatures early on.
The course, despite 2 ascents of the hill at Abbotsley & other undulating sections in the earlier stages, has historically produced many PB’s possibly because the final 4 miles of the course are downhill. This year there were 7 Club PB’s, some 25% of the club members.
The BRJ squad was again led home by Jonathan Harding (80th) just 1 minute ahead of both Simon Mayes (92nd) & Paul Mitton (96th). Club Captain, Felicity Baillie (218th), again led home our ladies, but Emily Miller (275th) is gradually decreasing Felicity’s time advantages race by race..
