Pathfinder 46 Mile March
The annual event organised by RAF Wyton, comprises a circular course visiting 4 of the 8 East Anglian airfields where the RAF’s elite Pathfinder Force (PFF) were based during WWII, namely Graveley, Oakington Warboys & Wyton. Participants can choose to run the 46 miles of walk as an individual or as a team. The events start from Wyton at 04:00 hours & require the participants to self navigate the course through 8 checkpoints & complete the distance in under 20 hours.
Jonathan Harding elected to participate alongside the other 30+ individuals in the solo running event. In the walk, a team consisting of BRJ members Nigel Maggs, Belinda Parker & Sue Yendley were joined by non-member Matt Healey.
