Parkrun 5K
For a second week running a number of venues were unable to safely host Parkrun’s thus leading to significant tourism.
This week saw BRJ returns to Brandon Country Park, Brighton & Hove, Irchester Country, Jesmond Dene, Letchworth, Milton Country, Northampton (Parkrun #50 for Belinda Parker & #450 for Sue Yendley), Rushcliffe, Rutland Water (Parkrun #300 for Chloe Wilson & #475 for Phil Pearsons), Stevenage (Course PB for Kerry Surkitt), Storeys Field (Course + Parkrun PB for Keelan Duffy, Course PB for John Clark & Parkrun #275 for Alison Orrel)l, Wisbech, Whittlesey (Course PB for Nick Harris & Parkrun #150 for Dianne Shutt) & Wimpole.
Alice Noyes made a BRJ Venue Debut at Jells (Melbourne, Australia). Her prediction that Tennis player Andy Murray would be knocked-out of the Competition in round 1 sadly came to fruition, but thankfully watching Andy, was not the sole purpose of the visit.
