Parkrun Junior 2K
Hannah Lasseter was the sole BRJ Junior in 2K action, which was at Jubilee Park & finishing in 6th place of 22.
Parkrun 5K
BRJ’ers returned to Bedford, Blicking, Dolgellau, Hasenheide Berlin Germany (Course PB for Annette Newton), Moors Valley, Pocket, Rushcliffe (Course PB for Matthew Ainscow), Rushmere, Rutland Water, Shipley Country, Sixfields Upton & Whitstable.
There was a BRJ Parkrun Venue Debut at Nobles (Isle of Man) for Kate Ruddock.
At Huntingdon, Keelan Duffy secured 3rd position in a Course PB time, along with Neil Whitaker. There were 3 Club PB’ers namely Jim Greenley (by 17 Secs & #4 of 2023), Mica Covell (by 37 Secs / PB #6) & Matthew Pendlebury by a massive 3 Mins 7 Secs. Darren Butler made his Debut Club Run & Juliet Aungier completing Parkrun #100.
Arkwright 5K (Saffron Walden)
The race was based at Carver Barracks, formerly RAF Debden, where Mark Sampson finished in 6th place of the 399 participants. His finish time of 00:15:46 represented a 37 Sec Club PB his 6th of 2023. Mark is now the 3rd fastest BRJ Man over the distance some 22 Secs behind former member, Pete Galpin, in 2nd place.
Blues Foundation Bedford 10K
3 BRJ’ers were among the 202 finishers at Bedford. For Anna Best, the race formed part of a personal challenge to complete ten 10K events in 2023. Both Anna & Clive secured top place in their Age Category. The club finishers were:

Castle Howard Youth Triathlon
The very poor weather conditions that ruined the English Crickets Team of winning the Ashes also affected the competitors in all of the events at this Multi-Sports Festival. In the Youth Tri. Henry Reeve finished in 10th place of the 29 finishers in a time of 00:45:28.
