Junior Parkrun 2K
Cambridge – Jack Scott, in his Debut Club 2K, led home all 98 runners in a time of 00:08:07.

Jubilee Park – Alexander Eason finished in 6th place just shy of his current Club 2K PB.

Parkrun 5K
BRJ’ers made returns to Dalby Forest, Ferry Meadows, Hunstanton Promenade, Leavesden Country, Millenium Country (1st place & Course PB for Keelan Duffy), Milton Country, Pocket, Rutland Water, Severn Bridge, Sheringham, Stevenage & Storeys Field (Course PB’s for Chloe & Megan Wilson).

Seb Burley made a Club Venue Debut at Riverfront (Newport, Wales) achieving a 7 Sec Club PB which was #3 of 2023.

At Huntingdon, the Club star performers were Mica Covell with a 42 Sec Club PB (PB #4 of 2023) & Katie Lasseter with a 17 Sec PB (#1 of 2023).

2023 Peterborough Grand Prix Series 3K & 5K
Race 2 (of 5) of the 2023 Grand Prix Series took place at an event organised by Stamford Striders. The 6 BRJ Juniors & 10 Seniors ran over a new course for 2023 .

Looking forward, Race 3 (of 5) that will be hosted by PANVAC, will take place on 12th July at Ferry Meadows Water Sports Centre, Peterborough & forms the “Nominated” event in the 2023 Junior Running Champs.

Junior 3K – A total of 6 BRJ Juniors were among the 42 finishers that ventured to Stamford Rugby Club. Henry Reeve lead home our squad, missing out on a Club 3K PB by just 7 Secs.
New Club PB’s were secured by Isaac Friswell by 6 Secs / #2 of 2023, & Dixie Swales by 14 Secs / also #2 of 2023. Iris Purser took the gold medal position in her Age Category.

Senior 5K – The 294 finishers included 10 BRJ Seniors. Keelan Duffy led home the BRJ squad & was 2nd in his Age Category.

Our 3 PB’ers in order of merit were Andrew Stevenson by 59 Secs / #5 of 2023, Nicola Sparkes by 41 Secs / #1 of 2023 & Chloe Wilson by 2 Secs / #3 of 2023. The full suite of results were:

Centurion Sprint Tri
Caroline Tiller was the sole BRJ participant in this event based at Box End (Bedford). Of the 47 finishers Caroline completed the course in a time of 1:49:18 in a position 26 / 47. Caroline was the silver medalist in her Age Category. Her individual stats were:-
