Parkrun Junior 2K
At Jubilee Park, Hannah Lasseter & Alexander Eason were the first BRJ’ers to complete a Parkrun after the coronation of King Charles. Hannah achieved a Club PB #2 of 2023 by a 11 Sec margin.
Parkrun 5K
BRJ’ers returned to Bury St Edmunds, Camperdown (Dundee), Ferry Meadows, Kettering, Letchworth, March, Mildenhall Hub, Milton Country (Course PB for John Clark), Pocket, Queens (Glasgow), Storey’s Field, Whittlesey (1st place for Mark Sampson). At Wimpole, Ian Percy secured his 2nd 5K PB in as many weeks by a 12 Sec margin.
At Huntingdon, a return to the regular course was welcomed by 2 BRJ’ers securing new Club 5K PB’s today. These were Rachael Dent (by a 31 Sec margin & representing PB #6 of 2023) & Junior Jack Hutchinson with a 4 Sec improvement, the second in consecutive weks.
New member Andrew Stevenson made his Club 5K Debut & Marco Wassersleben completed Parkrun #400.
MULTI-SPORTS
BUCS Sprint Triathlon
Jess Barrett-Drylie competed in the British University & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Sprint Tri at Westbirt House (Tetbury, Gloucestershire). Jess finished in position 299 / 439 in a time of 1:21:00.

St Neots Triathlon Series (Race #1)
Thankfully, much improved weather conditions greeted the BRJ Triathletes competing in the Sprint & Standard distances of Race 1 of the 3 Race Series.

David Ward was the lead BRJ’er securing a top 10 finish from 83 participants & an Age Category Podium place. Leo Cutler made his Club Triathlon Debut. The full set of results were:-

Kids Tri UK Worthing Dusthlon
After a couple of unfortunate technical & injury problems in 2 recent competitions, Jack Reeve successfully completed this Duathlon in the Open Category finishing in 16th position in a total time of 00:30:33. The stats for each phase were:
