4 BRJ’ers were in action at Jubilee Park with Katie Lasseter taking the runners-up position.
Parkrun 5K
BRJ’ers made returns to Armley (1st place for Keelan Duffy in a Course PB), Barrow, Bedford, Castle Park, Endcliffe (Course PB for John Clark), Ferry Meadows, Hastings High School, Holkham, Mile End (Course PB for Mark Jackman), Norwich, Pocket, Shipley Country (2nd place for Frank Holmes), Storey’s Field, Whittlesey & Wimpole. At Chelmsford Central, Mark Sampson secured 1st place, his time of 00:16:50 representing a 28 Sec Club 5K PB.
At Huntingdon, Junior Amelie Ward made her Club 5K Debut.
Bedford 10M
As part of his training programme for April’s London Marathon as the Club’s Ballot winner, Paul Treadwell made his Club 10M Debut finishing in position 173 / 339 in a time of 1:29:27.
Windmill Way Marathon
Kerry Surkitt, the Club’s most prolific Marathon Runner, kicked off her 2023 programme. Of the 30 finishers, Kerry secured 21st position in a time of 5:17:39 scoring 48.47% towards the Senior Running Championships.
