Thames Marathon Swim
Just 1 week after being part of a team that successfully completed a Cross Channel Swim, Sophie Etheridge participated in the Annual Thames Marathon Swim event, opting for the Full Marathon distance of 14KM. The course started in Henley-on-Thames & ending at Marlow. The swim came with additional challenges for the competitors such as having to exit & re-exit the water at the various locks. To enable Sophie to acheive this she towed a small raft that contained her crutches. Despite all of these challenges, Sophie completed the distance in a time of 5:27:28.
