The 31st December saw the conclusion of 2021’s “Most Road Running Personal Bests” competition.
This competition relates to personal best times that have been recorded & verified by our Results Officer in Road Running events across the year. The scope of this competition not only includes traditional Road Running distances & events but also 2K & 5K Parkruns. It also recognises where an individual completes a Club debut run over a new distance. PB’s achieved in Frostbite Friendly League & Trail Run events are excluded from this competition as each course vary in distance & are generally unmeasured.
The significant reduction in Road Running events in 2021 due to the COVID pandemic meant there were fewer PB’s than usual, however, there were still significant achievements by Club Members across the year.
Congratulations to all of the winners & good luck to you all in the 2022 competition.
