The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.
We are just preparing plans and checking our risk assessments for resuming club activities after 29th March.
Junior Parkrun returns on April 11th, for 4-10 year olds only, senior Parkrun on June 5th. This assumes that no further outbreaks occur and the majority of landowners are happy for Parkrun to proceed.
AGM – March 13th 11am (that’s next weekend)
Please step up and volunteer for the committee – we need you!
A brief summary of each role is also on the website – if you are interested in any role, please contact the current holder for further information.
Information on the AGM is now on the website: https://brjrunandtri.org/wp/?tribe_events=agm
We will be using Go To Meeting to put on the AGM, please check using this link well before the meeting to make sure you will be able to join the meeting:
https://support.goto.com/meeting/system-check
Why not check it now so that there aren’t any last minute surprises next Saturday morning
You can also install the GoToMeeting app on Windows PCs and Macs:
https://global.gotomeeting.com/install/821104901
Access Code: 821-104-901
The link to join the meeting has been emailed out to members, check your spam/junk folder. We deliberately haven’t put it here on this publicly visible page as only club members are entitled to join the meeting. If you haven’t received it then email hidden; JavaScript is required.
You can also dial in using your phone, calls will cost whatever you would normally pay to call a land-line number and may be included in your billing package. The dial-in number is in the email.
Frostbite – Event 5
The next Frostbite event is next weekend – run 5 miles on either Saturday or Sunday and log your time.
Tier 60 Trial – Event 5
The final Tier 60 Trial will run from Sunday 28th to Saturday 13th March.
Happy running and cycling (and those brave enough to swim)
