Members of BRJ RUn and Tri were delighted to return to racing on Sunday at the Duxford Imperial War Museum. Commemorating the anniversary of the Battle of Britain hundreds of runners, walkers and families took to the runway to complete the 5k and 10K courses. Following Covid protocols by maintaining social distancing and with runners crossing the start line individually some seconds apart this was very different from a normal mass of runners on the start line. David Newton, returning from inury, was delighted to be the first in his age category over 10K (47.23), followed by club mates Simon Lumley ( 48.53) Alice Edwards (49.09) and Stuart Ainsworth (1.01.45).
