Senior Multi-Sport Championships
The BRJ Multi-Sports Championship uses a points-based method that captures the athlete’s performance in the context of the event.
- Standard Open/Women and age groupings will be used.
- Separate Triathlon and Duathlon championships will held.
- A set of nominated events (see below), representing a mixture of Triathlon and Duathlon distances will be used for the Multi-Sports Championship.
- BRJ athletes can take part in as many events as they like – the Championship will use the two best scores (Triathlon) or best score (Duathlon) over the year.
Scoring
- Scoring will be based on the athlete’s performance in the event in their age and gender category.
- Points will be awarded based on whole numbers and the percentile in which they finish.
- The Multi-Sports Championship will be based on the two best scores achieved in nominated events over the season.
- If you compete in both triathlons and duathlons you will be eligible for both awards
