BRJ Run and Tri played host to the sixth and final race on the Frostbite League at Jubilee Park in Huntingdon courstesy of Huntingdon Football Club and local farmer Philip Lee. The five mile course around the waterlogged and muddy field magins was quite challenging and an excellent test of cross country running. BRJ seniors finished in 5th place on the day securing 3rd place in the series. The juniors finishing in 14th place on the day and in the series.
BRJ senior runners slipped to 5th place in fifth race of the Frostbite league but just hung on to the 3rd position overall. Bourne Woods lived up to it reputation as a challenging course with parts of the paths mired in mud and at times under deep water. The BRJ Junior Team finished in 14th Place slipping to 13th place in the league.

Dave Hudson (pictured) continued his marathon preparations by running in the Big Half in London. This very popular half marathon follows part of the route od the London marathon. Dave finished in 64th place ( 1 hour 10 minutes 14 seconds) out of over 22,000 finishers. David Newton ( 1 hour 42 minutes 38 seconds ) secured first place in the VM70 age category. Annette Newton ( 149.56) was second in her age category FV65. Other BRJ runners included Belinda Parker (2.03.05) and Cheryl Hannibal (2.04.27)
