RUNNING<\/h3>\n

PARKRUN JUNIOR 2K (22 December)<\/strong><\/p>\n

BRJ’ers were in action at 2 Parkrun Venues with 3rd places secured in both.<\/p>\n

Jubilee Park – Maxwell Evans in 3rd place was joined by Alexander Eason.<\/p>\n

Cambourne – 3rd place Finley Harrison finished just shy of his existing BRJ 2K PB.<\/p>\n

PARKRUN 5K (21 December)<\/strong>
\nThere were a total of 78 BRJ’ers in attendance at a Parkrun. From these, BRJ’ers returned to Bedford, Brandon Country Park, Bug Hunter Waters (Mark Jackman made a Course Best), Coldhams Common, Dulwich (Debut Club 5K by Angus Johnston), Ferry Meadows, Fulbourne Hospital (3rd place for Neil Whitaker), March, Pocket, Pymmes, Storeys Field, Wanstead Flats & Whittlesey.<\/p>\n

At Huntingdon, Pippa Waite made her Club 5K Debut & there were Parkrun Milestones for Diane Shutt (#175), Claire Few (#275). & Satrah Taylor-Hall (#400).<\/p>\n

Parkrun 5K (25 December)<\/strong><\/div>\n
A number of local Parkrun Venues staged Christmas Day “Specials”. If you completed a Christmas Day Parkrun & is not listed below you are requested to advise Results Officer, Mike Gullis.<\/div>\n

At a return to Ferry Meadows, Mark Jackman completed Parkrun # 325.<\/div>\n

At Huntingdon, a large assortment of Santa’s, Elf’s & Grinches were among the 535 finishers. This number was just 30 short of Huntingdon’s attendance record from event #167 of 2 July 2016. In 2025, Keelan Duffy took 3rd place overall & Nicole Covell made a Club 5K Debut in 00:26:47. Lastly, Adam D’Souza completed Parkrun #100.<\/div>\n
