{"id":5036,"date":"2023-09-25T15:02:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-25T14:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brjrunandtri.org\/wp\/?p=5036"},"modified":"2023-09-25T19:07:40","modified_gmt":"2023-09-25T18:07:40","slug":"latest-results-23-09-25-mike-gullis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brjrunandtri.org\/wp\/?p=5036","title":{"rendered":"Latest Results 23\/09\/25 &#8211; Mike Gullis"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>RUNNING<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Parkrun Junior 2K<\/strong><br \/>\nJubilee Park &#8211; Iris Purser (Runner-Up) &amp; Alexander Eason were the sole BRJ participants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parkrun 5K<\/strong><br \/>\nThere were BRJ returns to Armley (1st place for Keelan Duffy), Conwy, Daventry, Fulbourn Hospital (Course PB for Chloe Wilson), Holkham, Monsal Trail, Pocket (Parkrun #75 for Nick Harris), Sandringham &amp; Wisbech. As a warm-up for the Berlin Marathon the next day, Marco Wassersleben made a return to the Kuchenholz Parkrun.<\/p>\n<p>Gareth Thomas made a Club Debut at the Stavanger (Norway) Parkrun.<\/p>\n<p>At Huntingdon, a BRJ takeover, Darren Butler secured a new Club 5K PB by a 10 Sec margin (PB #2 of 2023) &amp; Simon Moore secured a Course PB.<\/p>\n<p>Junior, Hannah Lasseter, made a Club 5K Debut &amp; promoted herself to become current Runner-Up Girl in the 2023 Most Running PB&#8217;s competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crag Rat Race 5M<\/strong><br \/>\nPhil Pearsons travelled to Knaresborough to compete in this 5 Mile mixed terrain event that<br \/>\nruns alongside the River Nidd. Of the 215 finishers, Phil completed te race in position 185 in a time of 00:52:31.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cambourne 10K<\/strong><br \/>\nThis 10k was in place of the event that should have taken place back in April but significant wet weather rendered the course unuseable. 4 BRJ&#8217;ers were among the 249 finishers. Bo Mead made her Club Debut 10K. Richard finished in 80th position in a time of 00:53:05 &amp; Andy Ellams in position 187 in 1:11:04.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sandringham 10K<\/strong><br \/>\nMichelle Caspersz was among the 1,335 finishers in position 1,007 in a time of 1:07:37.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vitality London 10K<\/strong><br \/>\nHaving congregated in Green Park the event started, in Waves, on The Mall with the coursing passed iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Houses of Parliament &amp; St Paul&#8217;s Cathedral.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Robin Hood 1\/2 Marathon<\/strong><br \/>\n2 BRJ&#8217;ers were amongst the 5,429 finishers in this Nottingham based event. Dan Ainscow completed the course in position 3,754 in 2:19:25 &amp; Jane Ainscow in position 5,180 in 2:54:29.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Berlin Marathon<\/strong><br \/>\nWith the enforced withdrawal of Nicki McMahon due to injury, 4 BRJ&#8217;ers completed this Berlin Marathon. The course again produced records times, this time in the Women&#8217;s race a World Record by a 2 minute margin &amp; Eliud Kipchoge winning the Men&#8217;s race for a 5th time, but outside of his course best time. In addition, 2 BRJ&#8217;ers (Jim Greenley &amp; Helen Richardson) joined the BRJ Marathon Club&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Greenley, was the lead Male BRJ&#8217;er ahead of Marco Wassersleben, who has run this event on many occasions. Club Captain Felicity Baillie was our lead lady.
