RUNNING<\/h3>\n

Junior Parkrun 2K<\/strong>
\nAt Jubilee Park, of the 4 BRJ Juniors, Iris Purser took 3rd place<\/p>\n

Parkrun 5K<\/strong>
\nDespite the very wet weather produced via Storm Anthony, BRJ’ers returned to Boston, Holyrood (Scotland), Letchworth, Linford Woods, Markeaton, Pocket, Storey’s Field, University of Stirling (Scotland) & Wimpole. At Milton Country, both Chloe & Megan Wilson secured Course PB’s.<\/p>\n

At a very very wet Huntingdon, both Mica Covell & Keelan Duffy achieved Course PB’s & Alice Edwards reached Parkrun #300.<\/p>\n

OPEN WATER SWIMMING<\/h3>\n

Rutland Water Swim 4K<\/strong>
\n6 BRJ’ers braved the choppy waters alongside 230 other swimmers following a mass start at Sunrise. 3 members secured Age Category podium positions, This was Sophie’s final training session ahead of her Cross Channel swim later this month. The Club results were:<\/p>\n

MULTI-SPORTS<\/h3>\n

Cowman (Stampede) Triathlon<\/strong>
\n2 BRJ’ers competed in the Stampede Tri which was one of the many different events available. The Stampede consisted of a 750M Swim, 20K Bike Ride & a 5K Run. Of the 80 finishers, Nick Harris finished in 30th position in a time of 1:26:24 (3rd in Age Group) & Nina Gays in 65th in 1:45:16 (2nd in Age Group).<\/p>\n

Central Lancashire Junior Duathlons<\/strong>
\nLast week saw 2 Junior BRJ’ers compete in their respective Age Group Duathlon events. Their results were:<\/p>\n

Tristar 2<\/strong>– Jack Reeve finished in position 22 of 35 in a time of 00:16:08.<\/p>\n
