RUNNING<\/h4>\n

Parkrun Junior 2K<\/strong>
\n4 BRJ\u2019ers participated at Jubilee Park with Ethan Ward taking 1st place.<\/p>\n

Parkrun 5K<\/strong>
\nBRJ\u2019ers made returns to Armley (1st place & Course PB for Keelan Duffy), Brandon Country Park, Hove Promenade (Course PB for Alex Mitton), North Walsham, Pocket, Storey\u2019s Field (Course PB for Kate Ruddock) & Whittlesey.<\/p>\n

BRJ\u2019ers made Club Debuts at Haigh Woodland by Kelsey Crickmore, Leinpfad (Germany) by Mark Jackman & University of Stirling by Stuart Turner.<\/p>\n

At Huntingdon, Felicity Baillie was the 1st female & Annette Newton completed Parkrun #250.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Steel Cup (Indoor Track Meeting)<\/strong>
\nKeelan Duffy competed in both the 1500 Metre & 1 Mile track events. In the 1500 Metres, Keelan finished in 4th place from the 11 participants in a time of 00:04:18.<\/p>\n

In the 1 Miler, Keelan\u2019s PB time of 00:04:46 exactly matched that of current Club 1 Mile record holder, David Hudson<\/strong>, that he set at Westminster back in May 2018. Keelan finished in 3rd position of the 89 participants.<\/p>\n

York Even Splits 5K<\/strong>
\nKeelan Duffy secured his 2nd Club PB in as many days by finishing in position 7 of the 83 competitors in a time of 00:16:11, representing a 10 Sec improvement on his previous 5K PB set in Leeds in November 2022.<\/p>\n

Stamford 30K<\/strong>
\nFantastic weather conditions for long distance running was experienced by the 478 finishers in this picturesque, but very undulating course. The in-form Paul Mitton led home the “BRJ 3\u201d, his finish time secured a 2 Min 57 Sec PB compared to his run in 2022. Caroline Tiller also earned a Club PB, by a margin of 2 Mins 1 Sec when compared to the 2022 race. The results, including the Age Graded scores carried into the 2023 Senior Running Championships, are detailed below.<\/p>\n
