Kai finished in Runners-Up position just outside her current Club 2K PB&gt;<\/p>\n<p><strong>PARKRUN 5K<\/strong>&#8211; BRJ\u2019ers made returns to Belvoir Castle, Holkham, Hunstanton Promenade, Margate, Milton Keynes, Pocket (Parkrun #25 for Stephen Rochford) &amp; Wimpole (Course PB for Frank Holmes). At Kings Lynn, Junior Ella Whitfield made her Club 5K Debut.<\/p>\n<p>At Huntingdon, Lawrence Raven made his Club 5K Debut whilst Karen James secured a 46 Sec Club PB which was #3 of 2022. Claire Few completed Parkrun #175.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duxford Dash 10K<\/strong><br \/>\nThis event at the former WW2 airfield at Duxford coincides with the historic Battle of Britain weekend. Of the 147 finishers, Tim Legge in his Debut Club 10K, came home in 8th position in a time of 00:40:09. Tim was first in his Age Category.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stevenage 10K<\/strong><br \/>\nLisa Shacklock was the sole BRJ\u2019er among the 294 finishers. Lisa finished in position 162 in a time of 00:57:26.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sandy 10M<\/strong><br \/>\nThe manual intervention required due to \u201cGremlins&#8221; with the Chip Timing system has thankfully resulted in the availability of official, but only Gun Time results for the 2 BRJ participants. Of the 212 finishers, Jonathan Harding led home the &#8220;BRJ 2&#8221; in position 26 in a time of 1:03:52. This represented a 58 Sec improvement on the time he set the previous week at Sawtry. This was PB #11 of 2022 for Jonathan &amp; he currently leads the Senior Men\u2019s Running PB competition ahead of Tim Legge &amp; Paul Mitton who both currently have 8 PB\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Kerry Surkitt made her Club 10K Debut in position 113 in 1:23:35. To date, Kerry has secured a total of 9 Club PB\u2019s in 2002 &amp; currently leads the Senior Woman\u2019s PB competition ahead of Heledd Marshall-Roberts &amp; Caroline Tiller with 5 PB\u2019s. For your race diaries, the 2023 Sandy 10M will take place on 2nd April 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equinox 24 Hour<\/strong><br \/>\nA mixed team of BRJ members &amp; former members, calling themselves the \u201cYoungs Ones &amp; Silver Bullets\u201d were the best of 735 \u201clarge\u201d teams in the competition. The team equalled the course records by achieving a total of 35 10K laps (350K) of the hilly course during the 24 hour time limit. The Runner-Up team completed just 31 laps. Our teams total time was 24:34:03 with an average lap time of 00:42:08. The individual Ladies Champion, Anna Douglas, was also part of this team. The successful team members were Hanna Brickell, William Dales, Anna Douglas, Keelen Duffy, Shelley Duffy, Rob Farrant, Marcela Gracova, James Orrell &amp; John Uff.<\/p>\n<h3>MULTI-SPORTS<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Grafham Standard Distance Triathlon<\/strong><br \/>\nA total of 54 participants faced chilly &amp; windy conditions for the Swim phase in Grafham Water. Paul Eddleston completed the race in 27th position in a time of 2:51:55 &amp; 1st in his Age Category. Paul\u2019s stats were:-<\/p>\n<p>Swim (1.5K) &#8211; 00:43:19<br \/>\nT1 &#8211; 00:01:47<br \/>\nBike (36K) &#8211; 1:16:49<br \/>\nT2 &#8211; 00:00:59<br \/>\nRun (10K) &#8211; 00:48:58<\/p>\n<p><strong>Season Finale Triathlon (Olympic Distance)<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the last event of the season at Eton Dorney Lake, Jessica Barrett-Drylie was among the 317 successful finishers in position 155 in a time of 3:06:08 &amp; runner-up in her Age Category.
