RUNNING<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Parkrun Junior 2K<\/strong> – Alexander Eason was the sole BRJ Junior in action, making his Club 2K debut at Jubilee Park #200.<\/p>\n

Parkrun 5K<\/strong> – The weekend saw returns to Buckingham, Cafarella (Italy), Eglinton, Great Denham, Kirkaldy, Mildenhall Hub & Zuiderpark (Holland). No PB\u2019s were secured at these venues. BRJ\u2019ers made venue debuts at Durlston Country Park (Alice Noyes) & Minehead (Peter Jackson).<\/p>\n

At Huntingdon, Will Dales & Keelan Duffy secured 2nd & 3rd places respectively, Caroline Tiller made her Club 5K debut & Daniel Beckett completed Parkrun #125.<\/p>\n

Kimbolton Castle 1\/2 Marathon<\/strong>
\n14 BRJ\u2019ers were among the 317 finishers in this hilly local event that included an overall 139 Metres of ascent. Rob Farrant, who is steadily getting back to his pre-injury form, led home the squad in a top 10 position & just shy of his existing Club PB. Our lead lady was Marcela Gracova who was runner-up to the female winner & just 1 min behind. Ian Percy, in training for October\u2019s Chester Marathon along with Mel Wiffin, secured a new Club PB (#3 of 2022) by a 1 Min 20 Sec margin over the time he set at St Neots in November 2021. 7 BRJ\u2019ers secured Age Category podium positions. Sun\u2019s on the Run 1\/2 Marathon<\/strong>
\nRichard Braddick, making his Club 1\/2 Marathon debut, finished in 6th position in a time of 1:53:20.<\/p>\n

Sun\u2019s on the Run Marathon<\/strong>
\nOur Ultra distance fanatic, Kerry Surkitt & Samantha Ahern were among the 18 competitors that successfully completed the Full Marathon distance via 8 measured laps of Hinchingbrooke Country Park. Kerry was 2nd Woman & Samantha secured a 11 Min 49 Sec Club Marathon PB when compared with the time she set in London in October 2021. Their full stats, including the scores that count towards the Senior Running Championships, are:-<\/p>\n

Peterborough Grand Prix Series 2022 – Update<\/strong>
\nThe age category winners for 2022\u2019s 3K & 5K Series have been announced & BRJ\u2019ers are amongst them. The overall results are based on individuals completing a minimum of 3 races from the 5 available.
\nIn the 3K, only 2 of our Juniors participated in 2022 but sadly neither completed the 3 races necessary to earn a final score. It is hoped that more BRJ Juniors will take part in the 2023 Series. In the 5K, our winners were:-<\/p>\n
