Parkrun Junior 2k<\/u><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2 BRJ\u2019ers participated in the Jubilee Park event, both securing new Club 2K PB\u201ds. Freya Harris by 11 Secs (her 2nd PB of the weekend) her time making her the 3rd fastest BRJ Girl over 2K. Katie Lasetter PB\u2019s by 4 secs.<\/p>\n

Parkrun 5K<\/u><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There were BRJ returns to Rushcliffe, Sheringham, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Storeys Field, Vogrie (Scotland) & Whittlesey. No PB\u2019s were secured at these events,<\/div>\n

There were Club 5K PB\u2019s at Ferry Meadows (Chloe Wilson with a 14 Sec PB) & at Kettering (Keelan Duffy took the overall win with an 11 Sec Club PB).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
BRJ\u2019ers made Club debuts at 2 Parkrun events namely Gnoll, Neath (Wales) for Katherine Ireson and at Rothay Park (Ambleside) for Tom Brand.<\/div>\n

Locally at Huntingdon, there were Club 5K PB\u2019s for Freya Harris by 2 secs & Jessica Barrett-Drylie by 8 secs, her 5th Run PB of 2021 & current leader in the Senior Women’s competition. Jules Farrow completed Parkrun #50.<\/div>\n

Prestwood Hall 10K<\/u><\/div>\n
Keelan Duffy, training for his debut marathon in October\u2019s London event, was the sole BRJ entrant. Keelan was paced by John Uff. Although Keelean was being stretched by his pacemaker, he kept pushing himself to finish in 9th position out of 178 in a time of 00:36:42, representing a 2 Min 30 Sec Club PB \u00a0over the previous PB set at 2019\u2019s Peterborough New Years Eve10K. This was his 2nd PB of 2019.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Vitality London 1\/2 Marathon<\/u><\/div>\n
The course starts at Tower Bridge and finishes at the iconic Cutty Sark (Greenwich). William Dales was BRJ\u2019s sole participant in his debut club 1\/2 Marathon. Will finished in an impressive time of 1:19:04 in position 231 of the 9,745 finishers. This was his final race ahead of his debut Marathon in London in October. His recent performances have demonstrated his speed up to the 1\/2 Marathon distance so expecting his final few weeks of training ahead of the London Marathon will be concentrating on 20 mile (+) endurance runs prior to tapering phase.<\/div>\n

Oundle 20M<\/u><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

3 BRJ\u2019ers that are all training for an Autumn Marathon (Nicki McMahon & Alice Synge in London & Paul Treadwell in Berlin) completed this local event. amongst 298 finishers. Alice Synge led home our squad in position 99 in a time of 2:46:45, just shy of her current club PB. Nicki McMahon in her debut Club 20M had Alice in sight for much of the race but was unable to catch her, finishing in position 104 in 2:47:08. Both Alice & Nicki just failed to secure Age Category podium places (4th & 5th respectively). Paul Treadwell, also making his Club 20M debut in a time of 3:10:35 in position 182.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
