The course runs through the city centre meaning it was narrow, twisty &amp; very undulating. Despite these challenges, William finished in 7th position of the 393 finishers in a time of 00:17:35, just 5 secs shy of his current club PB that he set as a Junior member in May 2018\u2019s Fulham Place Parkrun.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Man versus Lakes (Lake District)<\/strong><br \/>\nOn the hottest day of the year so far, a mixed BRJ team competed in this Multi-Terrain \/ Multi-Discipline event. The event started at Morecambe Bay with a walk (wade) across the infamous Morecambe Sands &amp; after lots of climbing on the Fells &amp; some Kayaking on the Lake, ended 30 Miles later at Coniston, an overall ascent of 4,200 feet.<\/p>\n<p>Individual finish times were:-<\/p>\n<p>Claire Few &#8211; 10:18:13<br \/>\nEmma Figures &#8211; 10:17:52<br \/>\nJacqui Moore &#8211; 10:03:13<br \/>\nSue Ray &#8211; 10:03:10<br \/>\nKate Ruddock &#8211; 10:19:49<br \/>\nDavid Thomas &#8211; 10:03:15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Welsh 1000m Peaks Race<\/strong><br \/>\nFrank Holmes participated in the Long Challenge 32KM event which includes scaling the 5 highest mountains in Wales, an overall ascent of 2,800 feet across the route. The race starts from sea level at Conwy Bay &amp; finished 32KM later at the summit of Snowdon.
