A great run by Dave Hudson leading everybody home. A fantastic finish
\ntime 33 minutes 16 seconds. It was slightly slower than his estimated
\ntime but he didn’t account for the gates (not a usual feature of his
\nraces). \u00a0 James Orrell was next home in 38 minutes 49 seconds, over two
\nminutes inside his estimated time Finishing third Alex Mitton , 45
\nminutes 46 seconds just outside his estimated time.<\/p>\n

Mel Wiffin was the first woman home, fourth overall in 47minutes 7
\nseconds\u00a0 Nicki Mahan and Alison Orrell tied for second\u00a0 place running
\nexactly the same time, 48 minutes 18 seconds, with Ruth Foster\u00a0 third
\nwoman to finish in 49.44 minutes.<\/p>\n

Ian Wibberley paced the course perfectly finishing only one second
\ninside his predicted time, 49 minutes 58 seconds. Rachel Hodge was only
\n9 seconds outside her predicted time, 1 hour 15 minutes 9 seconds. Lots
\nmore great performances today which I could mention.<\/p>\n

As always the BRJ\u00a0 volunteers were brilliant including the timekeepers
\nand the marshals.<\/p>\n

Our lives are very different than they were at the beginning of the
\nyear. We cannot run the races we had planned. However we can still run
\nand race together. When we do we renew friendships and rekindle that BRJ
\nspirit of being together and having fun.<\/p>\n
