The course starts a small distance away from the Green Cafe. It follows the north tarmac path and makes an anticlockwise lap around Lynch lake which is about 900m long returning to the start point. The course the continues with two big anticlockwise laps following the tarmac paths rounding the Overton and Lynch lakes (2050m run each lap) crossing the Ham and Pontoon bridges to finish on the information stone post on the deviation next to the start point.
Anyone running the Peterborough parkrun for the first time will be amazed with the great views of both Nene Park and the lakes.
The run starts at the south end of Lynch Lake near to Nene Glides Segway Hut which is about 200m from the Green Cafe and 400m from the nearest car park (which is behind the mentioned Cafe).
The briefing is held next to the Green Cafe where the runners will be directed to the start point afterwards.
