Not even the pouring rain could dampen the enthusiasm and commitment of 25 youngsters attending the last of the Junior training sessions held at Hinchingbrooke School, with Andy Matson and his fellow coaches.  Following this successful pilot, it is hoped to make this a regular program moving forward - details will be published shortly, and further information can be obtained from Andy by emailing  tri@brjrunandtri.org

Congratuations to all the junior and senior runners who took part in the Guessitmate on a wet night, Thursday 27th June. The juniors ran a 1.5mile course and the Seniors a 5.7 mile course. Results are:

I'm raising money for the Alzheimer's Society (our club charity this year) and I'd really appreciate your support.

My Challenge is the Pathfinder multi terrain event on Saturday, 22nd June. Pathfinder is a 46 mile run/walk around the WW2 airbases in Cambridgeshire and is held annually on the Saturday nearest the longest day of the year (giving time to complete this challenge). BRJ Run and Tri would like to congratulate all those who completed the beginners running course, despite the recent wintry conditions. Of the 46 people who signed up, many had never been out running before and for others it was their first experience of running since their school cross country lessons.  On completion of this eight week course several members of the group have already gone on to take part in nearby races and their local 5k parkruns.
