We had a good turnout again at the regular Wednesday night BRJ junior running group, but training was a bit different this week. It being Easter week there were plenty of eggs, spoons and chocolate about, not usual items at our junior sessions, but it all made for some Easter fun.
After the usual warm-up taken this week by team captains Ed Cochrane and Emily Wake-Primett the junior runners set off on a 1.6 mile Guestimate run. Runners had to...Read more
We had 13 runners take part and finish in the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday. There were personal bests for Andrew Barber, Yvonne Homewood and Cheryl Jenner. Cheryl took an amazing 20 minutes off her PB.

A wonderful night at Huntingdon Racecourse proved a perfect way to celebrate 25 years of BRJ. Lycra was exchanged for ballgowns and tuxedos as BRJ members and friends enjoyed a 3 course meal and charity raffle, followed by an entertaining auction compered by our Club Chair, Geoff Hopcraft and his glamourous assistants Nykki Webber and Anita Girvan. Huge thanks must go to all those who generously donated such wonderful prizes, and then also to those in attendence, where a bidding frenzy saw prizes escalate to some amazing figures, all in the aid of our Club Charity this year, the...Read more
The Juniors were on fire at the 3rd Frostbite of the season - possibly because they hadnt been drinking and dancing the night away the previous night at the BRJ Anniversary Ball. Juniors finished 4th position overall.
