Want to bring some fun back into to your running, walking or cycling? Looking for something active that the whole family can do? Up for a challenge and want to be inspired?
We are taking the steeplechase event back to its routes and using church steeples, and some towers, for a fun event that you can either walk, run or cycle in groups and choose the length of your course. Family groups can combine running and cycling. All successful participants will receive a certificate on completing the course.
Last Sunday's 2km Junior Parkrun at Milton Country Park in Cambridge saw not only a great turnout from the junior members but also some fantastic times and results. There were PBs for Lauren Elliott, Beatrice Pauley and Jodie Elliot and second position overall and first girl for Lauren. Bea knocked a whopping 32 seconds off her previous PB.
Junior parkruns are open to all 4 to 14 year olds and one is held at Milton Country Park every Sunday at 10.00am. Just like the Saturday parkruns, runners need to register and print a barcode before their first race.
