BRJ Cyclists Fly Round East Anglia to Help Raise £13,000

Between August 10th and 13th, members, Sue Yendley and Don Brazier joined another 40 riders to take part in the Adrian Flux Lap of Anglia Charity Bike Ride. The ride follows the 414-mile outline of the East Anglian Air Ambulance territory with riders covering circa 100 miles on each of the four days. Setting off from King’s Lynn, the riders travelled along the beautiful Norfolk coast before dipping inland for their first stop in Norwich. Day two and the riders travelled back to the coast, along the edge of Suffolk and inland to the second stop in Ipswich. From Ipswich, the group travelled inland along the Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire boundaries for their final stop in Luton. On the final day, the group returned to King’s Lynn from Luton.

Now an annual event, the ride started in 2013 to raise valuable funds for the air ambulance. This year’s total is already at £13,000 with Sue and Don raising a huge £600.
